Graduate School Burapha University is solely a data owner and an administrator of the website https:// grd-admission.buu.ac.th. The website creates to collect, store and disseminate information about the admission of graduate students.
The Collection, use and disclosure of the personal data
1. Burapha University shall collect your personal data according to the application form consist of:
a. Personal Information includes ID card/ Passport ID, First Name - Last Name, Nationality, Religion, Marital status, City of birth, Country of birth, and Date of birth
b. Contact Address includes Applicant’s permanent or Mailing Address
c. Contact Person in case of emergency : includes Name, Telephone, and Address
d. Education includes List any relevant awards, publications, scholarships, and honors held
e. Working Experience includes current occupation and position, list chronological record of work experience
f. English Proficiency
g. Personal Documents includes a copy of Identification Card or passport, a copy of Degree Certificate, a copy of transcript, Employment Certificate, English Exam Score Certificate, Goal Statement, and Documents such Professional license etc. to be used as supporting documents for recruiting.
2. Burapha University may disclose your information to the third party for considering of the applicants selection.
3. The duration for collecting, using, disclosing and storing personal date is one year from the consent date. Burapha University will remove the personal data after the expiry of a data retention date.
Protection of personal data
Burapha University has set up lawfully security measures to protect personal data for preventing losses in accessing, using, processing, changing, correcting, and disclosing illegally or unlawfully. This action is compliant with the university security information technology measures.
In case the university employs a third party, any transfer of personal data shall take place and keep confidentially and securely. Any unlawful action, in contrary to employment condition, is prohibited to collect, use, disclose personal data.
Obligation of data subject
The data subject is obliged to provide correctly, accurately, and completely the personal data to the university. In case of given false, incorrect information and caused damage, the university reserves the right to repeal services at its sole discretion, without notice and does not take any direct or indirect damages.
Rights of the data subject
The data subject shall have the rights under these following legitimate grounds.
1. The rights to correct, change, and update completely his/her personal data in accessing https:// grd-admission.buu.ac.th within the specified timeframe.
2. When the personal data are not collected from the data subject, it is the rights of the data subject to make a request asking for any available information referred to his or her source.
3. The data subject shall have the rights to file a complaint when the data controller violates any legal provision under Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2019
